Lyndsay serves as the Director of Field Education and Instructor in Samford University’s Department of Social Work. She joins the Social Work department after serving as a Counselor and Wellness Coordinator in Samford’s Counseling & Wellness office for seven years.

Lyndsay is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with her PIP certification. In addition to studying Social Work at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, she pursued an integrated master’s program where she also earned a MDiv, exploring leadership and service in social agencies of the church and the community at large. The program focused on the integration of theological, Biblical, theoretical, ethical, pastoral, social justice, empirical and practical dimensions of social work, which continue to be foci of Lyndsay’s research and work.
