Laura Zapalowski is a chef, food stylist, recipe developer and recipe tester. She holds a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Samford University and she attended the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City. Laura has been working in the culinary industry for the past 18 years. She has worked at The Food Network, Emeril’s Restaurant in New Orleans, Emeril’s Homebase Corporation, Southern Living Magazine, Health Magazine and Hot and Hot Fish Club. She currently co-owns Homewood Gourmet, a fast-casual restaurant and catering company with her husband Chris. They live in Birmingham, Alabama with their 2 children.
