Friday, July 31

1:30-2 p.m. – Check-In and Refreshments

2 p.m. – Opening Ceremony

2:30-3:15 p.m. – Alumni Session 1 – Term Meetings

  • First Term Leaders: Brock School of Business, Room 229
  • Second/Third Term Leaders: Brock School of Business, Room 239
  • Leaders who are serving in their first, second or third terms will meet together to discuss and brainstorm items that apply to their tenure of service through the Association.

3:15-3:30 p.m. – Break

Refreshments will be available in the second-floor lobby of Brock School of Business.

3:30-4:15 p.m. – Alumni Session 2 – Campus Partners

  •  Option 1: Office of Admission and Enrollment Management
    • Location: Brock School of Business, Room 229
  • Option 2: Career Development Center and Samford CARES
    • Location: Brock School of Business, Room 239

Join campus partners to learn more about ways to further connect as alumni leaders across campus.

4:15-5 p.m. – Campus Tour of Gaston Hall, Mann Hall and Crider Commons

Participate in a student-led tour of the newest residence halls on campus for freshmen.

5:30-6 p.m. – Reception

Enjoy punch and tea in the Dwight and Lucille Beeson Alumni Center before dinner.  This will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other alumni leaders.

6-7 p.m. – A Taste of Samford

Location: The Rotunda Club, Dwight and Lucille Beeson Alumni Center

Partake in the culinary cuisine by Aramark, Samford’s dining partner. Campus favorites will be showcased as well as a few new dining items that will debut during the 2027-28 year.  Hear from current Samford students about their Samford experiences and enjoy fellowship with other alumni leaders and guests. Alumni leaders are welcome to bring a guest.

7 p.m. – Closing of the evening

 

Saturday, August 1

9-10 a.m. – Breakfast will be available for conference attendees.

10:15-10:45 a.m. – Morning Session – Campus Strategic Plan for Student Success

Location: Brock School of Business, Regions Community Resource Room

Speaker: Dr. Dave Cimbora, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Hear more about ways Samford is focused on supporting current and future students through the next steps in Samford’s strategic plan, Fidelitas.

10:45-11 a.m. – Break

Refreshments will be available.

11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Alumni Sessions
