
Dr. Johnny R. Tice is dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Dr. Tice has worked in the areas of Cardiac/Telemetry, Neonatal ICU, Emergency Medicine, and Correctional Mental Health. Dr. Tice completed the Advanced Clinical Practitioner Fellowship in Rural Primary Care with the Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Duke –Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Fellowship Program at Duke University. Additionally, Dr. Tice was honored with “The Under 40 Award” by the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) which celebrate NBNA members who are 40 years old and under who have shown strong leadership and demonstrated excellence and innovation in their practice setting, in their NBNA chapters and in the communities they serve. Dr. Tice maintains clinical practice as an advanced practice nurse, in correctional mental health.
