What do you enjoy most about your work? I love getting to be a source of comfort to my patients. Nurses have the unique opportunity to meet patients right where they are and care for them without expecting anything in return.

How did Samford prepare you for your career? I was equipped to be a nurse with excellent critical thinking and practical skills and was given many opportunities to network in the Birmingham community, but was also shown how to really care for my patients and treat them with dignity and respect.

In your opinion, what does it mean to be a Moffett Nurse?It really is about having the courage to care...to really care, and remembering that each patient I come in contact with is made in the image of God and deserves the utmost respect and highest quality care.
