Nancy Hartin is a visiting instructor of accounting in Brock School of Business where she teaches Principles of Accounting and Personal Finance.

Nancy earned her Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Samford University. In December 2025, Nancy graduated with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. She practiced accounting at Ernst & Young, Harbert Management Corporation, and several businesses in the Birmingham area. Nancy began as an adjunct instructor at Samford University in 2007 then served as Assistant Lecturer in Accounting and Business Department Career Strategist at Birmingham-Southern College.

Nancy is a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church and is married to Chris. They have three sons, a dog named Daisy, and live in Vestavia, Alabama.
