At the start of their freshman year, students interested in pursuing a Brock School of Business major dive into the business school curriculum as pre-business majors. It’s not until after the spring of their sophomore year that a student is able to officially declare their major. He or she then begins coursework in their declared major the fall of their junior year. We celebrate the students declaring their majors at a formal event known as Rite of Passage. During Rite of Passage, each student signs the Brock School of Business ledger pledging their commitment to the school’s core values in all they undertake.
