Kyle W. Outlaw is an assistant professor of accounting in Samford University's Brock School of Business where he teaches financial accounting courses. His research interests are primarily in the area of auditing. Outlaw taught accounting courses at Arkansas State University, the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University prior to joining Samford.   

Outlaw is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the State of Arkansas. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi in 2023. He received a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Arkansas State University in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Prior to entering academia, Outlaw worked in public accounting for two years in Little Rock, Arkansas.
