The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has officially announced a six-year accreditation extension for Samford University’s Brock School of Business and its undergraduate and graduate-level degree programs. AACSB, a global association of leaders in education and business, is dedicated to supporting and advancing quality business education worldwide.

This continued accreditation places Samford’s Brock School of Business among the top 5% of business schools worldwide—affirming the school’s position as a leader in delivering rigorous, values-driven business education.

“Receiving this AACSB accreditation is a clear testament to the outstanding qualities of our Brock School of Business," said Beck Taylor, president of Samford University.

Accreditation from the AACSB is the hallmark of excellence in business education. There are 1,000+ accredited business schools in more than 100+ countries worldwide that have earned AACSB accreditation.

Dean Chad Carson shared, “We are proud to maintain our AACSB accreditation, allowing us to continue offering degree programs that meet the highest global standards. This recognition places Brock School of Business among the top 5% of business schools worldwide. Our faculty and staff are committed to working alongside our students to cultivate the next generation of Christian business leaders. We deeply appreciate our continued partnership with AACSB and their steadfast support of our mission.”

For over a century, AACSB Accreditation has been synonymous with the highest standards in business education. Accredited schools have successfully undergone a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring that they have the resources, credentials and commitment needed to provide students with a first rate, future-focused business education. After initial accreditation, the school undergoes a continuous improvement review process every five years in order to meet the standards AACSB requires.

President Taylor remarked, “Maintaining AACSB accreditation is a significant achievement that underscores the strength of Samford’s Brock School of Business,” Taylor said. “With this continued recognition, we are poised to build on our momentum and further elevate the quality of education we provide. Our future is bright, and we are excited to see how our students, faculty and staff will continue to lead and innovate in the world of business.”

The mission of AACSB International is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education with a vision to transform business education for global prosperity.

This extension of accreditation aligns with Samford University's strong performance in The Wall Street Journal's 2025 rankings, where the university was recognized for its top-tier career preparation, ranking No. 8, character development, ranking No. 2 and its ranking as one of the most recommended colleges, ranking No. 10.
