Samford University alumni and friends are invited to attend the College of Health Sciences Health Care Leadership Symposium featuring alumna Dorinda Cale. This monthly event offers health care professionals a time of fellowship, as well as the chance to hear from alumni who are leaders in the field.
During this special ceremony, the B.S.N. class of Dec. 2021 will receive their professional nursing pins, indicating a commitment to a life of caring for others. The pinning tradition is a special rite of passage for all nursing students. While the diploma is representative of a graduate's proficiency in the science of nursing, the pin is representative of their mastery of the art of nursing.
The White Coat Ceremony marks the entrance of a nursing student beginning clinical nursing and serves as a reminder of their commitment to provide compassionate care to each of their patients. Join us as Moffett and Sanders School of Nursing honors this year's class.
