- Provide access to instructional tools, materials and educational technologies that enhance classroom practice.

The ELC houses resources that support teacher preparation and professional practice.
- Professional books, reference materials and instructional resources for teaching.
- More than 1,000 education resources supporting teacher preparation.
- More than 2,000 books spanning children’s and adolescent literature.

Robyn B. Cohen Children's Book Collection
Dedicated in 2002, the Robyn B. Cohen Children's Book Collection was established through the generosity of Michael and Carol Cohen in memory of their daughter, Robyn B. Cohen ‘98, Samford education graduate and former student assistant in the ELC.
The collection includes children's and young adult literature, including Caldecott and Newbery Award-winning titles, as well as books that support diverse learning needs and address important social and emotional topics encountered by children and families.
