Samford University’s Orlean Beeson School of Education Human Development and Family Life Education awards ceremony will recognize the many accomplishments of the school’s undergraduate Human Development and Family Science students.
More than 100 third-grade students from Trace Crossings Elementary School will visit Samford University April 30 to participate in the 15th annual Young Authors Conference. The event is hosted by Samford teacher education students in partnership with education students from Birmingham’s Miles College. This year’s guest speaker is Jo Kittinger, a local children’s author from Hoover, AL. The annual conference honors John and Frances Carter who both taught in Orlean Beeson School of Education.
