Is the MSHIA online or in person?
The Master of Science in Health Informatics and Analytics is an online program, providing flexibility while preparing students for careers in health informatics, healthcare analytics and data-driven decision-making.
How long does the accelerated program take?
Students can complete the BS in Mathematics with a Data Science concentration and the MSHIA in five years. Students begin graduate coursework during their senior year, allowing them to make progress toward both degrees at an accelerated pace.
When do I apply to the fast-track program?
Students apply during their junior year after meeting the program’s admission requirements.
How do I register for my MSHIA classes at Samford?
The School of Public Health Director of Student Services will register fast-track students for their MSHIA courses at Samford and provide guidance as they transition into graduate coursework.
