Abolade Oladimeji is an assistant professor of sociology at Samford University. His scholarship focuses on the critically important intersection of medical sociology, geography, and social inequality. Abolade is contributing to the scholarship and policy discourse on health disparities over the life course and how it intersects with place. His technical specializations span spatial analysis and geographic information systems, social geography such as the Census, longitudinal data analysis on large-scale samples, and advanced regression techniques.

In his free time, Abolade enjoys watching soccer and he’s a fan of Arsenal Football Club of London and the Nigerian men's soccer team, the Super Eagles.
