Samford University’s Howard College of Arts and Sciences will host the 2025 Timothy Sumner Robinson Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 5–6 p.m. in the Regions Room of Cooney Hall. This year’s forum will feature Laura Hackett, an Edward R. Murrow Award–winning journalist for Blue Ridge Public Radio.

Hackett’s acclaimed reporting on Hurricane Helene and its aftermath has earned recognition from the Online News Association, the Radio Television Digital News Association, and the Society of Professional Journalists. Her work has also been featured on NPR’s Marketplace and All Things Considered.

The forum is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.
