The new Digital Video Center

Samford’s Digital Video Center moved from the fourth floor in Orlean Bullard Beeson Hall last month to Divinity Hall North, room 308. The new room location is larger and will continue to offer video and camera equipment for current Samford students to check out. The DVC is open during the semester while classes are in session. Walk-in hours are available from 11:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

During the fall semester, the DVC staff began using a new equipment management software called Cheqroom. This program can be accessed from a computer or phone app. The DVC staff use Cheqroom to manage checkouts, returns and equipment inventory. Samford students who would like to use the app can email Lauren Waycaster (lwaycast@samford.edu) to receive an invite to join our account. Students who use the app will be able to view DVC equipment inventory and create a reservation.
