Geoff Sciacca started the Graphic Design program at Elmhurst College (just outside of Chicago), where he taught for seven years prior to moving to Birmingham. For the past four years, he served as the Creative Director at Restoration Academy in Fairfield, AL. He holds an MFA in graphic design from Louisiana Tech University and a BFA in graphic design from Auburn University. His creative and pedagogical interests involve exploring the places where art and design are indiscernibly unified, including democratic forms of art such as screen printing and poster design; as well as ways design can be used as a catalyst for social change. He resides with his wife Katherine, and three sons Benjamin, Exodus and Shiloh in Vestavia.
