2020 Margaret Johnson Scholarship Recipient

In 2018, the School of Health Professions surprised Margaret Johnson, professor and chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, with the endowment of the Margaret L. Johnson Scholarship. This year, Mary Beth Wagner was selected as the 2019-20 recipient.

Mary Beth is a 2019 B.S. in communication sciences and disorders graduate and a second-year M.S. in speech language pathology student.

Annually, Samford University National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (SUNSSLHA) members work together to organize and complete service projects for the community. This year, the student organization partnered with The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs to update the Center’s literacy bags.
