(Re)shape Gallery, curated by Emily Collins and Samford alumna Nicole Anne Weldy '21, proudly presents Measured Space, by Ellie Dent, Maggie Genoble, Syd Greene, and Oscar Soto. Measured Space contemplates the looming conflicts between individuals and space, exploring the dual influence patrons have on one another. 
The title highlights this theme by identifying a concern for identity and exploring dimensions of entities through the work. Measured Space indicates ownership of the artists’ personal experiences and invites viewers to develop an understanding of the scenarios displayed in the work. The depiction of exposed organs, empty seat settings, and call to physical presence in these works emphasizes the metaphorical gap between living bodies, encouraging the viewer to reflect on role reversals and their interactions with other beings in their lives.
