Places and Spaces
The Brock School of Business has an outstanding faculty and staff dedicated to providing a 21st century business education for our students, but we believe Cooney Hall is the next step in making the Brock School of Business one of the nation's premier business schools. While this state-of-the-art facility for educational instruction, faculty collaboration, student innovation and community partnership was completed fall 2015, there are many ways to support and to be a part of this special project:
The Donor Wall recognizes donors with gifts $1,000 or more. Pledges can be over five years. For example, you could give $200-a-year or $16.67-a-month. Make sure you "Designate Your Gift" to the "Brock School of Business Building Fund".
Room Sponsorships are available for companies, families and foundations starting at $5,000. More than half the rooms have already been sponsored, contact Eddie Miller for more information.
Annual commitments can be signed for any amount of money, usually between $1,500-$5,000 per year for at least 3 years. These scholarship funds can be sponsored by individuals, families or corporations.
Permanently endowed and named scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in the Brock School of Business. Minimum amounts for such funds would be $25,000 each, which would provide approximately $1,500 annually to a student. These scholarship funds can be sponsored by individuals, families or corporations.
Corporate sponsorships are available for Samford Network activities in Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta, D.C. and other cities across the US. Sponsorships of quarterly breakfasts/lunches/receptions generally cost $3,500 - $5,000. Recognition of the sponsoring firm is given before and during the event. Other sponsorships also are available, including special programs, mini-Birmingham networking events and lectures.
