The purpose of VPN is to allow "approved" Samford employees remote access to services and applications which otherwise cannot be accessed from off-campus. VPN access is granted based need, and should be requested by your immediate supervisor. The process for Samford VPN requests is to have your immediate supervisor send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting VPN access. Once approved, you will be notified with further instructions to have the VPN client installed. You will also be contactted by Information Security to activate your 2 factor authentication.
