Kameron joined the Marketing and Communication Department in March 2022 as the Marketing and Communication Coordinator. He graduated from Auburn University in 2021 with a BS in Public Relations.

Prior to his work with Samford, Kameron was the Marketing Assistant for the Office of Student Involvement at Auburn University where he coordinated the strategic communications and marketing efforts of the office. Prior to his role as the Marketing Assistant, Kameron served as President of the Involvement Ambassadors where he supported and assisted over 585 student organizations, planned and coordinated events, and represented the students in student affairs and university operations.

During his experience in student affairs, Kameron developed a passion for higher education and university communities. He served as a voting member in the President’s Cabinet for Auburn University and the Student Communication Board where he influenced university policy and initiatives with administration and student governance.

Additionally, Kameron served as a Peer Instructor and Adviser for Exploratory Program, helping students through counseling and teaching to declare their majors. Kameron also regularly volunteered his time with the Shelby Baptist Association’s Church and Community Ministries, fighting food insecurity through the operation of a food pantry and community garden, providing school supplies and shoes to underprivileged students, and coordinating and leading mission projects throughout Shelby County.
