Diamond Nunnally joined the Marketing and Communication team in July 2022 as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Howard College of Arts and Sciences.
Before that, Diamond worked at ABC 33/40 News in Birmingham as a Multimedia Journalist where she reported on stories that mattered to Alabamians. It was at ABC 33/40 where she honed her skills in news gathering, writing and video editing. But her time in Grand Island, Neb., as the bureau reporter and weekend fill-in anchor at KSNB Local4, is where she got her start.
Diamond covered everything from rodeos and town halls with the governor to numerous stories about Covid-19. In Birmingham, she reported on a family devastated by the loss of a loved one killed in the 2022 Buffalo mass shooting.
Diamond is an Indiana-native and Hoosier at heart. She graduated from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Communications.
With her news background, Diamond will tell Howard College's story through marketing and communications to show targeted audiences why it is the heart of Samford University.
