Samford University's Praxis Project will present the Bill Russell/Henry Krieger musical "Side Show" June 10-12 at 7 p.m. in the university's Bolding Studio.

"Side Show," based on the true story of Depression-era conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, is the first musical to be produced by Praxis Project, which provides additional artistic opportunities for Samford students and alumni.

The cast will include Samford alumni Maggie Taylor and Chelsea Reynolds as the famous musical twins; University of Alabama students Barrett Guyton and Zacchaeus Kimbrell as  love interests Terry Connor and Buddy Foster; Samford student Quincy Price as Jake, "The Cannibal King" who joins the quartet on their journey to America; and Samford student Cody Hays as The Boss, the tyrannical handler of side show "freaks."
