 Samford University's baseball Bulldogs won their second straight game over a nationally-ranked team, taking a 4-2 victory Thursday night (May 17) in the first game of a 3-game series against the University of Oklahoma Sooners.

Samford defeated 3rd-ranked Florida on Tuesday night in Birmingham. The Sooners lost Tuesday night to TCU, but were coming off a 3-game sweep last weekend of Big XII regular season champion Baylor.
