Samford Debate advances to Elite Eight at season opener in Washington, D.C.
Samford University’s debate team kicked off its 2024-25 season in Washington, D.C. at the George Mason Debate Tournament. The team of senior Aaron Gill and sophomore Laurel Pack advanced to the Elite Eight, with Gill earning fifth place speaker in the tournament and Pack placing 12th.
