As we anticipate the arrival of a “new crop” this Thursday, Aaron Farrow in facilities services sent a message to me this weekend, including this quote:

“Over the years, I have helped what seems to be countless students move into their rooms and each year I have seen the expressions of joy on the faces of the parents turn to sadness as they tell their children goodbye.  For many, being from out of state, this is the first time they will be separated for an extended period of time.  I’ve seen both moms and dads attempt to keep their composure as they leave their child – but tears soon follow.  Do we really understand the trust we engender?”

The world is better because of the trust that is built at Samford.
