One of our recent graduates wrote to me last week to share her appreciation of her experiences at Samford.  She commented on Samford’s “encouraging setting.”

“By ‘encouraging’ I do not mean soft or touchy-feely. Rather, Samford has made me strong.  Samford made me tough; tough enough to trust that my own healing is in the Lord's hands. It made me tough enough to know that I will be just fine and must continue my awareness of others above myself. The encouraging setting at Samford does not lead us to self-absorption,but to selflessness through utter trust in the Lord's ability to heal our every pain.”

The world is better because of this recent Samford graduate.  May her selflessness bring hope to those who need it.
