Prior to coming to Samford, Lauren attended Tuscaloosa Academy. She was a part of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, and was an AP Scholar. She served as vice president of her senior class, president of Latin club, and captain of the girl's varsity soccer team. Lauren is pursuing a degree in economics from Samford's Brock School of Business, and she is concentrating in social entrepreneurship. She is a vice president of Finance and Economics Women, completed a fellowship with Lifeline Children Services during the spring semester of 2023, and she has served as an intern at Christian Service Mission as her service placement for Micah Fellows going on three years. After graduation, Lauren hopes to work in the area of disaster relief.
