During her time at Samford, Lee Ann has been heavily involved in many student organizations on campus. She has served as the Leadership Coordinator and Chair of the Fellows Leadership Council (FLC), President of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS), Director of Member Finance for the Epsilon Xi Chapter of Delta Delta Delta, Resident Assistant in the Delta Delta Delta sorority house, Flute Section Leader of the Samford Marching Bulldogs, and Principal Flutist for the Samford Orchestra and Wind Ensembles. Lee Ann has also lead and completed analytical surface chemistry research with guidance from her professor, Dr. Brian Gregory, and is currently in the process of publishing this work. During the Summer of 2023, Lee Ann also interned with International Medical Aid in Mombasa, Kenya at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital where she learned more about medicine in under-resourced countries and lead community service initiatives. After graduation, Lee Ann plans to attend medical school and use her degree to continue education others and improve the global health initiative.
