Since coming to Samford, Sam is pursuing a history degree and a minor in Communication Studies. On campus, he is a member of both the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity as well as the Phi Alpha Theta History Honorary. Sam has studied abroad twice during his Samford career, spending a semester in London as well as spending a month as part of an archeological dig in Israel. He currently works as a Resident Assistant in addition to serving as a Peer Mentor for the Fellows program. Sam serves as a research assistant in the chemistry department, examining the analysis of ancient pottery shards from Israel. He will continue his education to pursue a master’s degree in museum studies next year.
