Prior to coming to Samford University, Sam Allen was the valedictorian and STAR Student of Brookhaven High School. He was also the 5A Men's Tennis Singles champion for Mississippi, and was a member of National Honors Society. Since arriving at Samford, Sam has joined the Sigma Chi Fraternity and serves on their Step Sing Committee. He is a JMC major with a Film Production minor, and concentrations in both Advertising and Public Relations. He co-hosts his podcast, "Club Sammitch," which has had over 24 episodes released and special guests including Samford University President Beck Taylor. In his free time, Sam enjoys drumming in his band "Greensprings," playing video games, writing film reviews, listening to records, hanging out with his friends, and aspiring to the "Jimmy Buffett lifestyle."
