Prior to attending Samford, Emmy attended Travelers Rest High School where she took many leadership positions including Beta Club President, National Honor Society Vice President, and National Art Honor Society Historian. She was also the Student Ambassador for a local non-profit, Let There Be Mom. Growing up in the mountains of South Carolina, Emmy enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors in her free time. She also loves listening to music and plays the flute. Emmy plans to become an educator and wants to make learning an enjoyable experience for all students. She hopes to grow in her relationship with Christ during her time at Samford and discover new ways to glorify Him.
