Prior to coming to Samford, Mary Claire graduated from Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she was a varsity rower for four years, a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, Tucker River Fellows, and Christian Forum, as well as an Ambassador for her school. She held leadership positions in the Yearbook Club and also led an environmental club for middle schoolers. While at Samford, Mary Claire intends to study Communication Sciences and Disorders. After graduation, she plans to get her master’s degree in speech pathology to be a Pediatric Speech Pathologist.
