As managing director for the Legacy League, Sharon serves as the organization’s chief operating officer. Collaborating extensively with the executive director to promote and implement the mission of the organization and the university, she supervises the full-time staff, oversees the budget and communications, provides strategic leadership and direction to the board and volunteers, directs fund-raising efforts and manages the scholarship program. A North Carolina native, Sharon joined the Legacy League staff in 2011 after working in non-profit ministry for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Hartwell, have three children.
