Ainsley Allison supports marketing and communications for the School of the Arts. She has more than 20 years of experience in communications, branding, and media, with a background in public sector communications, public safety messaging, and broadcast journalism.
Before joining Samford, Ainsley led all communications and branding efforts for a municipal government, serving as a public information officer and guiding messaging and reputation management. She developed marketing strategies, managed digital platforms and publications, and led a communications team to enhance storytelling and community engagement. Her career also includes community relations work in law enforcement and more than a decade in television news.
Ainsley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences from The University of Alabama and is active in professional communications organizations. She is a 2023 graduate of Leadership Shelby County and serves as Secretary of the Leadership Shelby County Alumni Board.
In her free time, Ainsley cheers on her children at soccer games. She and her husband, Jacob, live in Helena with their children, Riley and Owen, and golden retriever, Ringo. They are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church.
