Hometown: Rainbow City, AlabamaVeronica became very involved on campus at Samford; she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and has participated in Freshman Forum, the Student Activities Council, Samford’s Pre-Pharmacy Club and McWhorter School of Pharmacy Early Assurance Program. During high school, she was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. She was actively involved in peer tutoring, yearbook staff, danceline, and was a hostess for school functions. She interned as a pharmacy technician for Cornerstone Family Pharmacy. Veronica has been accepted into the McWhorter School of Pharmacy for the fall of 2017. She aspires to become a Doctor of Pharmacy, specializing in pediatric oncological pharmaceutics.
