Major: Classics and History
Hometown: Irmo, South CarolinaSarah is proud to be carrying on the family tradition as a 3rd-generation Samford student. She is part of the Phi Mu chapter on campus, which allows her to enjoy not only a close sisterhood with other Samford students but also the opportunity to get involved in the community volunteering and fundraising for the local Children’s hospital. Sarah has also had opportunities to give back to the community through the Aequora program, which allows her to tutor students at the local Boys and Girls Club in Latin. She is double majoring in Classics and History with the hopes of attending graduate school and eventually working in a museum. Sarah has also joined the Stockham Scholars program for Classics/History majors on campus. This summer she will spend a week in Washington D.C. with a group of University Fellows before returning to Birmingham to work.
