Good afternoon!

We are excited to announce that Samford has acquired 3,000+ doses of the Pfizer SARS-CoV-2 vaccine and we are making it available to all students NEXT WEEK.

In consultation with your personal healthcare provider, Samford supports and strongly encourages everyone to vaccinate against COVID-19.

  • Do it for Yourself - you’ll be in a position to do more of all those things you want to do this summer;
  • Do it for Family - you can be with and help protect them;
  • Do it for Samford - a well-vaccinated campus allows us to be the campus we know and love…safely.

We will conduct an on-campus vaccination clinic in Seibert Gym next Wednesday (April 14), Thursday (April 15) and Friday (April 16). By clicking on the link below, you can register for a vaccination and then schedule your appointment time.

Please note: we will hold another on-campus clinic to administer your second dose on May 5-7, 2021. Residential students awaiting a second dose will be permitted to remain in residence halls until the second vaccination date even if course work and exams have been completed sooner.

All slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once our vaccine allocation is committed, we will take a short waitlist. After that, we will not be able to accommodate any additional vaccinations. Students will have exclusive access to sign up until noon on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at which time any remaining members of the Samford community will be invited to sign up until all spaces are taken. So….DON’T MISS OUT. Click on the link below and claim your spot now.

We look forward to seeing you next week. In the meantime, help get the word out by mentioning this to your fellow students!

With Best Regards,
