Mini Conference Reboot: Instructional Designer, Brooke McKinney, will help faculty explore how AI tools like ChatGPT can serve as creative time-saving "professor power tools." Participants will examine how AI changes the writing process for students, the importance of teaching AI prompting explicitly in the classroom, and how to approach academic integrity through the “Pedagogy of Disclosure,” a framework for transparency and ethical AI use. Participants will leave with example prompts, classroom activities, and strategies to integrate AI meaningfully and responsibly into their teaching.
