NPHC recruitment at Samford University is a meaningful and mission-driven process that introduces students to the historically Black fraternities and sororities that comprise the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). Rooted in a legacy of excellence, service, advocacy, and cultural pride, the experience emphasizes scholarship, leadership, and lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood. Unlike other recruitment processes, NPHC membership intake is conducted individually by each organization and is designed to reflect the traditions, standards, and values unique to each chapter. Students are encouraged to engage in educational interest meetings, community events, and interactions with active members to learn more about each organization’s history and impact.
