BIRMINGHAM---Samford University's Beeson Divinity School will sponsor a ministry enrichment workshop focusing on premarital counseling and marriage enrichment Monday, April 18. The workshop will follow the PREPARE/ENRICH inventory format, which is designed to assist ordained ministers and counselors who counsel premarital couples and provide married couples with enrichment opportunities.

Dr. Langston Haygood, director of Covenant Counseling and Education Center, Birmingham, and a certified PREPARE/ENRICH trainer, will lead the workshop.

Participants will learn how to help couples explore relationship strengths and growth areas, learn assertiveness and listening skills, resolve conflict, discuss their families of origin, learn financial planning and budgeting skills, and focus on personal, couple and family goals.

The workshop leads to certification in the PREPARE/ENRICH program. Registration cost is $125.
