Samford University students and their relations will enjoy several days of quality time together on the campus this weekend (OCT. 7-9).

About 500 family members and 200 students have registered for Family Weekend, which includes a variety of fun and educational opportunities.

Entertainment options include a Samford Theatre production of William Nicholson's "Shadowlands" and Samford women's soccer action.

A 9:30 a.m. general session on Saturday will feature Samford president Thomas E. Corts updating parents on current and future campus activity. The session will also serve as the annual meeting of the Parents Association. Symposia on a variety of topics will follow at 11 a.m.

A Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. in Reid Chapel will highlight student missions. Families can enjoy a final weekend meal together at Sunday brunch on campus.
