With a Pulitzer Prize, two Grammys and the National Medal of the Arts between them, Bolcom and Morris have traversed Broadway, vaudeville and music hall, performing music from the Ragtime Era to the end of the 20th century, since 1973.
At the piano, composer and storyteller Bolcom charms the audience with his engaging patter. As an accompanist, his lively and harmonically rich touch is impeccably tuned to every nuance of Morris’ voice. Morris brings out a veritable cast of characters to sing each of her songs.
Tickets are $20 (adult,) $15 (55+) and $10 (student/child) at www.samford.edu/arts or (205) 726-2853
