Next week is National Library Week, and Davis Library at Samford University has some great activities planned to celebrate!

There is a Book Fair, April 15th and 16th from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the first floor in the library next to the circulation desk. A percentage of the proceeds go to benefit BackPack Buddies, a local charity that provides food for children in need.

Kim Herndon, Dean of the Library, and Assistant Librarian, Jane Daugherty, are coordinating the weeks activities.

"We’ll also be giving away a $50 gift card to Amazon.com and a $50 gift card for iTunes on Thursday and Friday," said Daugherty. You can register to win by submitting your name and Samford email address at the Circulation Desk.

Other displays include 'Missiography' in the 2nd floor reading room. This features photos of Samford's mission works from around the world.
