Samford University will close at 1 p.m. today. All classes after 1 p.m. are cancelled and offices are closed.

If you are involved in a non-academic campus activity scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and evening, contact the event coordinator or organization for updates.

Students and employees who drive to campus are encouraged to use caution and to monitor road conditions through ALDOT and other media outlets.

The emergency response team will continue to monitor weather forecasts and road conditions through the afternoon and evening. Students and employees should monitor university communication outlets - website, weather hotline, email and RAVE alerts - as well as local media outlets for updates about Thursday.
