The members of our women’s basketball team celebrated another win last week when Emily London hit a three-pointer just before the buzzer, defeating UNC-Greensboro.  An important footnote for this victory was that it marked the 100th career win for Mike Morris, the head coach for the women’s team.  Coach Morris is known for helping his players to win basketball games . . . but he is also known as a man who cares deeply for his student-athletes, a devoted husband and father, a volunteer at his church and for other important causes, and a friend to colleagues.

The world is better because of Mike Morris.
