Among thousands of statistics kept to measure our progress at Samford, we often overlook a crucial bit of information:  the extent to which our graduates repay their student loans.  Lane Smith, Director of Financial Aid, reports that our loan default rate for the most recent year was 0.5 percent, compared to the national average of seven percent.

The world is better because our graduates are committed to fulfilling their obligations.
