On a Saturday earlier this month, Marissa Grayson of our Department of Political Science chaired a “Walk Out of Darkness,” sponsored through the American Society for Suicide Prevention.  More than 1,600 people participated in the event, raising almost $140,000 for suicide prevention and—more importantly—sending a message of hope.
