Madeleine graduated from high school with high honors in the top ten of her graduating class. In addition, she was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Interact Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She also served as junior class secretary and member of SGA. In high school, Madeleine was also incredibly active in her community. There, she served as Albertville High School’s representative for Marshall County Youth Leadership and President of the Albertville Chamber of Commerce Junior Board, where she organized annual local school supplies and coat drives for the city school system. She was also recognized outside of her community for her leadership by being chosen to attend Alabama Girls’ State, Rotary’s RYLA conference, and Samford’s Great Ideas Summer Institute. In athletics, Madeleine was a crucial part of the Varsity Tennis team, serving as a varsity contingent since the seventh grade, and named rookie of the year and Most Valuable Tennis Player for four years in a row. She also led her team to Section 6A finalists and state appearances her junior and senior year. Last summer, Madeleine served as an ICU and Day Surgery volunteer at her local hospital. At Samford, Madeleine is a Dean's List member and an active member of her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. In the future, she plans to attend dental or medical school.
